Long time no post.....

It's been a busy summer around here! I have been making cards I just haven't had time to post any. So, here we go with the first of the cards I have been saving up. :)

OCL Friday challange #57

Finally I had a little time in my craft room and time to play along with the OCL Friday challenge. I read a series of Vampire books by Kerrelyn Sparks. She has a signed bookplate for her newest book if you send her a self addressed stamped envelope. Well, I couldn't just send an envelope so I made this card for her following the challenge rules of CAS (Clean and Simple) and embossing. The background of the card is dry embossed.

Mom's birthday

Here is the card that I made for my mom's birthday this year. I used the Our Craft Lounge sketch challenge again. I turned the sketch and straightened out the pieces to make my card this time. I hope my mom likes it!

Feed the Monster

I had time to play along with the Our Craft Lounge sketch challenge this weekend. I needed some Halloween cards so I pick this fun stamp set to play with. I did turn the sketch the long way to make it work with my images but I stayed close otherwise. :)

Another OCL Sneak peek....Christmas

Here is another awesome Our Craft Lounge stamp set. It is called Trim the Tree. There are lots of fun ornaments. This is a very quick and simple card that you could recreate for Christmas. OCL New Halloween sneak peek

Hello. Our Craft Lounge has a bunch of new stamp sets coming out. I was asked to show a couple of them over the next three days. This first set is just adorable. I love anything Halloween! It is called Little Boogas. This little guy reminds me of the old Kooky Spook costumes when I was little. They had blow up heads that you put on. Hopefully some of you know what I am talking about. :) Anyway, be sure to check the OCL Blog and check out the other girls blogs for more sneak peeks! Yet another flower card

Here is another card that I made with Our Craft Lounge's new stamp set Pretty Petals. I wanted to make a bunch of cards quick so that is why they all have the same background paper. This one has an odd shape to it because I boo booed when I was cutting my paper so I couldn't do a normal rectangle shape. I made it work though. :)

These two cards are very similar. I just used a different flower for each. I wanted some happy cards for my miscellaneous card section of my basket and these are two of them. :) You can see more samples of Pretty Petals on the OCL Blog this week.

Here is another card made with some new Our Craft Lounge stamps. The little wings on the bugs are colored with a glitter pen to make them sparkle. The center of the flower has Sparkly Fluff (you need this stuff!) again.

This is another new stamp set by Our Craft Lounge. I colored in the flowers with Copics and then put Sparkly Fluff in the middle of the flowers on the little lady bugs spots.

2nd Sneak Peek day!

Welcome back! It is day two of the new stamp sets from Our Craft Lounge. Today I am sharing a card made with Tweet Thang. I just love the cute fat little birds in this set. It's hard to see in the picture (click on it to make it bigger) but I used a little glitter on her tail and head feathers.

My stamp set for today is called Fishing With Dad. This is a really fun set to use. The images are bold so you can create quick cards. My dad has been fishing for as long as I can remember so I was very happy to get to use this set for the first day of sneak peeks.
