This past weekend at Archiver's if you bought $20 in Hero Arts stamps you got the new catalog for free. Well, I love the word free so off I went. This cute stamp is a new one from Hero Arts. I colored her in with Copics. I colored her dress to match the little butterfly on the patterned paper but of course on this card the butterfly got covered up by the image. :) I guess I should have cut more carefully.

I made this little treat box the other night. I will end up filling it with little candies I think. It is made very quickly with the Big Shot and the Matchbox Die. The little puffs of frosting on the edges are covered in sparly fluff. It is soft and sparkly! :)

Here is another Christmas card. I used the same papers and layout as a Stampin' Up! only card from my other blog. This one uses a cute Our Craft Lounge stamp set called Tweet Winter Wishes instead. The snow underneath the bird feeder is covered in Sugar Sparkly Fluff. That stuff is so much fun!
Stamps: Tweet Winter Wishes, Merry Wishes Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, White Craft (SU!) CS: Real Red, SU! Designer, Neenah Solar White Other: Copics, Ribbon, Sugar Sparkly Fluff, Nestibilites, Big Shot
Here is another card that I made for the OCL November Sketch challenge. I also made it for the birthday challenge that ended last night. One of the categories this one fits into is a color challenge of black, white and pink. I did cheat a bit and added orange for the snowman's nose. :) The little birds have Sparkly Fluff on their scarves and there is more Sparkly Fluff for the snow bellow Mr. Snowman. The snow in the background has chunky sparkles on it too.
Our Craft Lounge is a year old! To celebrate they are having some fun challenges. This is one of my cards for the challenge. This little stamp set is sold at Archivers and comes with four Copic Markers. The little red hat is covered in Rockstar Red Sparkly Fluff and the snow is made with a BG10 Copic marker covered in Crafty Sparkles Chunky Crystal glitter.
Since I live in Farmington and I work for the Board of Animal Health I get a lot of requests for farm type cards. I found this great stamp by Great Impressions a few weeks ago and thought it would be perfect.
Stamps: Great Impressions, Teeny Tiny Wishes (SU!)
I am going cardmaking with some great friends this weekend and I wanted to make something fun for them. This is a Hershey bar wrapped in some snowflake paper and decorated. I hope they like them! :) But then who doesn't like chocolate? I stamped the fence first then masked the end of it to stamp the snowman. Then I colored it in and cut out around all of it and popped it up on the snowflake paper.
Sorry I haven't posted anything for awhile. My dad had a massive heart attack and nearly died. He is doing a little better now but it is going to take a long time for him to recover. Then on Tuesday my mom had a lung removed (cancer) and of course her hospital is across town from my dad's. I have been pretty busy going back and forth between the two of them, working full time and taking care of my family. I will try to get something posted soon but please have patience while I work through this tough time.
Here is my card for the October Our Craft Lounge Sketch challenge. You can find the information here on their message board. I won this stamp set for having the winning card in the August challenge. It is called Tweet Winter Wishes.
Stamps: Tweet Winter Wishes (OCL)
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, Old Olive (SU!)
CS: Old Olive & Vanilla (SU!), Unknown Cranberry, Deja Views Home for the Holidays patterened paper
This is the cute card that I made at the Our Craft Lounge class at Scrapfest this year. I had never used their Crafty Sparkles glitter before. It it totally awesome (goodness can you tell I grew up in the 80's?). Anyway, it is really fun and it was used to make the snow. There is also some white Sparkly Fluff on the little penguins belly and hat. It is white so it is hard to see in the scan but fun to touch on the card!
I made this card for someone at work who is having a shower this weekend. I was going to stamp a little giraffe for the front of the card but then I was looking at the scraps from the background and just punched out circles from it to decorate the front instead. Super quick!
CS: Pink Passion, Green Galore (SU!), Imaginiscepatterned paper
Other: ribbon, circle punches, Big Shot machine, circle texture plate
I picked up this cute little stamp set at Archiver's during Srapfest last weekend. It is a special set from Our Craft Lounge that comes with four Copicmarkers. I used just those four to color this in. After I finished the card I thought the upper left corner by the monster was too white so I colored and cut out some little candy corns that are in the set and popped them up on the front.
I am now Copic Certified! The class was so much fun and I learned a lot. Marianne was awesome. She has so much knowledge stuffed into that little body! Check out her website if you would like to learn a ton about the Copic markers. I will be practicing and posting some tips that I learned later on.
This is a terrible picture but....I never claimed I was a photographer.....just a stamper. :) Although there is no stamping on this project. Oops. Anyway, I traced out this butterfly using a very old Stampin' Up! template. I did one with patterned paper and one on vellum. After I cut them out I attached a lip gloss and some bling. So far my daughter and her friends have loved them. Hopefully I will sell a lot at my upcoming craft show this weekend!
I just love Our Craft Lounge stamps! They recently came out with a bunch of new ones. This is little monster is from a set called Sweet Tooth Terrors. There are more monsters with candy and some cute says to go with it. I am taking a class taught by the owner of OCL at Scrapfest at the Mall of America next week. Can't wait to meet Cammie, Joy and Kisa!
I picked up this cute stamp set from Stampendous when I was on vacation. I don't really like monkey's myself but any cards I make with them seem to sell very fast. :) This is a cute little guy popping out of the cake at least. The top is the front of the card and the bottom is the inside. It was all colored with Copic markers. In a couple of weeks I will be taking a Copic certification class. I can't wait to learn more tricks to use these markers.
Stamps: Changito BDay (Stampendous) CS: Neenah Solar White, various patterned paper I had in my stash Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black Other: Ribbon, Corner punch, Copics
