New Hero Arts stamp

This past weekend at Archiver's if you bought $20 in Hero Arts stamps you got the new catalog for free. Well, I love the word free so off I went. This cute stamp is a new one from Hero Arts. I colored her in with Copics. I colored her dress to match the little butterfly on the patterned paper but of course on this card the butterfly got covered up by the image. :) I guess I should have cut more carefully.

Chocolate Gift

I am going cardmaking with some great friends this weekend and I wanted to make something fun for them. This is a Hershey bar wrapped in some snowflake paper and decorated. I hope they like them! :) But then who doesn't like chocolate? I stamped the fence first then masked the end of it to stamp the snowman. Then I colored it in and cut out around all of it and popped it up on the snowflake paper.

News

Sorry I haven't posted anything for awhile. My dad had a massive heart attack and nearly died. He is doing a little better now but it is going to take a long time for him to recover. Then on Tuesday my mom had a lung removed (cancer) and of course her hospital is across town from my dad's. I have been pretty busy going back and forth between the two of them, working full time and taking care of my family. I will try to get something posted soon but please have patience while I work through this tough time.

This is the cute card that I made at the Our Craft Lounge class at Scrapfest this year. I had never used their Crafty Sparkles glitter before. It it totally awesome (goodness can you tell I grew up in the 80's?). Anyway, it is really fun and it was used to make the snow. There is also some white Sparkly Fluff on the little penguins belly and hat. It is white so it is hard to see in the scan but fun to touch on the card!

Candy Monster

I picked up this cute little stamp set at Archiver's during Srapfest last weekend. It is a special set from Our Craft Lounge that comes with four Copic markers. I used just those four to color this in. After I finished the card I thought the upper left corner by the monster was too white so I colored and cut out some little candy corns that are in the set and popped them up on the front.

Copic Certified

I am now Copic Certified! The class was so much fun and I learned a lot. Marianne was awesome. She has so much knowledge stuffed into that little body! Check out her website if you would like to learn a ton about the Copic markers. I will be practicing and posting some tips that I learned later on.

Butterfly lip gloss

This is a terrible picture but....I never claimed I was a photographer.....just a stamper. :) Although there is no stamping on this project. Oops. Anyway, I traced out this butterfly using a very old Stampin' Up! template. I did one with patterned paper and one on vellum. After I cut them out I attached a lip gloss and some bling. So far my daughter and her friends have loved them. Hopefully I will sell a lot at my upcoming craft show this weekend!

Happy Birthday!

I picked up this cute stamp set from Stampendous when I was on vacation. I don't really like monkey's myself but any cards I make with them seem to sell very fast. :) This is a cute little guy popping out of the cake at least. The top is the front of the card and the bottom is the inside. It was all colored with Copic markers. In a couple of weeks I will be taking a Copic certification class. I can't wait to learn more tricks to use these markers.

Stamps: Changito BDay (Stampendous)
CS: Neenah Solar White, various patterned paper I had in my stash
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black
